Sometimes life gets messy and doesn't go as we plan. A flat tire, a child's tantrum, or a bad report at work happens. These times are when Satan attacks us the most. Hopelessness, anger, and despair slowly creep in. It is at this time God gives us a choice, do we stand faithfully in Him or let the roar break us down.
The only way to stand solid in these times is to stand on God's Word. The precepts of the Lord are right giving joy to the heart. The commandants of the Lord are radiant giving light to the eyes.(Psalms 19:8) In your time of trouble where do you first go to for help? Choosing to kneel to God first, will silence the roar of Satan. Your problems may or may not go away but in the midst of it God will always stay. The blessing in the trial is you will come to Know
Him in a different way. I have had some struggles the last few weeks that have been very hard and felt very hopeless. Then I realized I have spiritual weapons to use to battle this trial. God gave us prayer, His Word, and fellow believers to help us through the battle. We often think of the Bible as a book to read and guide us.But, we must remember it is a powerful weapon ,God gave us, that will help us through these trials. As a Woman of the Word silence the roar with the word, and remember in the end God wins.
